CJ Maintenance Services is owned by Chey Roberts. Chey has many years experience working in the building maintenance and facilities management sector both as a multi-skilled engineer and a manager. During his career he has dealt with all aspects of commercial buildings maintenance from plumbing to air conditioning, and has worked at a huge range of sites including schools, hospitals, office blocks and even theatres.
Chey has an NVQ Level 2 in Electrotechnical Technology, a CAT1 FGAS (air conditioning) qualification, and is qualified to work at heights (IPAF). He has a wealth of experience in all areas of home maintenance including plumbing, decorating, woodworking, carpet fitting and garden maintenance. Chey launched CJ Maintenance Services as he was keen to find a better work-life balance.

No. There is no charge for obtaining a quote from us.
Our rates are competitive. We will always send you a quote and agree a price with you before starting work.
If we find an unforeseen problem after work has started we will inform you straightaway and wait for your authorisation before continuing with any extra work.
We prefer to supply materials but are happy for you to source materials yourself if you wish. We can’t guarantee any materials that have not been supplied by us.
No. We will arrange a suitable time to arrive and call you if we are delayed (or ahead of schedule!) for any reason.
Absolutely. We will treat your home as if it were our own. We’ll leave your house as we found it.
Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm. If you have an urgent job outside of these hours, we will be happy to help if we can. We do charge a higher out-of-hours rate.
For larger jobs, we require a deposit payment for materials with the remainder of the balance being due on completion of the work. For smaller jobs payment will be due on completion of the job. We’ll email you an invoice. Payment can be made in cash, by card or bank transfer.
